                               RESOLUTION NO. 20675
                  
                  
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO 
                  THE CONTRACT WITH CONSOLIDATED TECHNOLOGIES, 
                  INC. RELATIVE TO THE DESIGN OF AUTOMATED 
                  SAMPLERS AND FLOW MONITORING EQUIPMENT, MORE 
                  PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, FOR A 
                  CONSIDERATION OF SIXTEEN THOUSAND, FOUR 
                  HUNDRED DOLLARS ($16,400.00), WHICH AMENDMENT 
                  WILL ALSO REDUCE THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT PRICE 
                  FOR A REVISED TOTAL AMOUNT OF NINETY-NINE 
                  THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($99,400.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
       Amendment No. 1 to the Contract with Consolidated Technologies, 
       Inc. relative to engineering services for the design of automated 
       samplers and flow monitoring equipment for the Central Avenue, 
       Carter Street, 19th Street and Blackford Street regulators, for a 
       consideration of $16,400.00, which amendment will also reduce the 
       original contract price from $85,000.00 to $83,000.00 for a 
       revised total contract price of $99,400.00.
